Bartholomäus Ch. Lainer began his professional career as a lecturer at the Training and Development Institute of the Lucerne Commercial Association. His next role in Switzerland was as a project manager in the central executive and HR development department of a retail group comprising manufacturing and service companies.

He has been self-employed since 1995 and, as a change management consultant and trainer, is constantly involved in change projects at the BMW Group.

In 2009, he founded a management consultancy specialising in management development and change management, which provides consultancy and implementation services both within the automotive sector for medium-sized companies and for small and medium-sized enterprises.

For several years now, through his teaching on the Master’s programme in Industrial Engineering at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, he has been combining his practical experience with the latest academic research.

At SENATOR, he supports the Change Management division and, as an expert, acts as the point of contact for planned and ongoing change projects in the areas of corporate strategy, structure and culture.

He draws on his extensive experience gained from numerous projects, starting out as an organisational development consultant, and utilises modern change management tools.
