We want to hear from you!
There is currently greater demand than ever before for interim managers in Germany. This is confirmed by the latest survey conducted by the DDIM (German Interim Management Association) amongst its members and associated interim management providers.
The temporary assumption of specialist and managerial roles by independent interim managers and temporary experts such as yourself is becoming increasingly important across all sectors.
At the same time, the search for the right candidates is becoming increasingly complex – because, against a backdrop of economic fluctuations, digitalisation and globalisation, interim managers are increasingly expected to possess skills that go beyond their specific sectoral and professional knowledge. We’ll match you with the right assignment within our extensive client network.
Our range of services for interim managers
As part of HR Consult Group AG, our 100+ partners and consultants fill more than 1,000 permanent and interim roles every year.
With over 30 years’ experience in the market and more than 25,000 successful placements, we have a wealth of experience and access to a client base that is unrivalled by almost any other recruitment consultancy or interim management provider.
Project-specific, personalised support from our interim management partners, who have many years’ experience.
Expert support in getting started in interim management and in finding suitable projects for our interim managers.
We always ensure open, respectful and direct communication at every stage of a project (and this applies even if our client decides to work with another expert).
We undertake interim assignments for our clients exclusively on an exclusive basis, thereby preventing clients from being approached by multiple parties and eliminating the risk that the work carried out by our interim managers – as well as our own efforts – will go unrewarded.
State-of-the-art technology in our proprietary database enables us to identify candidates who are a perfect fit for our clients’ requirements, thereby largely preventing our interim managers from being approached for unsuitable roles.
Legal certainty, thanks to many years of experience and comprehensive legal expertise, enables contracts to be drawn up in the best possible way and ensures that an assignment as an interim manager is structured to avoid issues such as liability or bogus self-employment.
We place the utmost importance on data protection and confidentiality. Our processes and databases are fully GDPR-compliant. We store all CVs exclusively in digital form in our own secure offline database. We only present profiles of our interim managers to our clients after consulting with them first.
Inclusion in our pool is free of charge for managers. The fees for our interim managers are paid exclusively by our clients. Our commission rates are fair and transparent for all parties and are based not on our interim managers’ hourly or daily rates, but solely on fixed rates. We reject percentage-based commission as a business model, as this usually serves only the provider’s interests.
As a certified recruitment consultancy, we adhere to the BDU’s quality standards.
Our
Expectations
Technical
Extensive experience as a specialist and/or manager: As a general rule, we assume that an interim manager has at least 15 years’ professional experience; depending on the nature of the assignment, we expect at least 10 years’ management experience for senior roles. However, for assignments involving specialists, such as in financial control or IT, this is a secondary criterion. For board-level assignments, we place candidates who have previously held C-level positions.
Industry and functional expertise: Many companies rely on experts they have worked with before for various projects and to fill temporary vacancies. We do not believe in generalist skills and seek out the best specialist experts for every challenge.
Experience in medium-sized businesses, family-run businesses and/or organisations with a medium-sized business structure, or in large corporations.
Personal
A willingness and ability to take on new challenges time and again.
The ability to pick things up quickly, enabling you to familiarise yourself with new projects and environments at a rapid pace.
A hands-on approach: a focus on action, the ability to get things done, and the determination to take the initiative and solve problems yourself.
Team spirit and the ability to „get colleagues on board“.
Flexibility, as projects often need to be filled at short notice.
Nationwide availability and willingness to travel.
Excellent knowledge of German and, in most cases, English as well, at least in German-speaking countries.
