Senator Partners is delighted to have recruited Dr Claus Pfelzer to strengthen its team of consultants.
With his PhD in Applied Physics Thanks to his work on the use of gas lasers in infrared spectroscopy and his scientific research at a major research institution specialising in solid-state lasers, Dr Pfelzer has in-depth specialist knowledge in the field of Laser technology acquired. He then spent 30 years working in the field of Information Technology covering various specialist areas such as Logistics and Financial services active. This combination, which is extremely rare in Germany, sets him apart significantly in the consultancy market.
His professional experience in the field of information technology includes both Consultancy as well as Line management responsibility for IT projects, the operation of IT systems and the management of IT organisations. He has particular expertise in the development of detailed job profiles for management and specialist roles. Through targeted discussions with decision-makers, he identifies factors critical to success and helps companies to, Filling key positions with the right candidates – both in terms of professional qualifications and the respective corporate culture.
His structured approach has proved its worth in the Filling challenging roles It has proven its worth in marketing, internet and e-commerce systems, as well as in payment systems within the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) sector, where IT security requirements are correspondingly high due to the critical nature of these systems.
As an IT manager, Dr Pfelzer was responsible for department heads, teams and project groups for 16 years. His extensive experience in the targeted selection of staff now forms the basis for successfully filling roles in digital transformation and in high-tech sectors such as laser technology and its applications.
Thanks to his academic work as a physicist and his career with an IT consultancy firm and a large, internationally operating logistics company, Dr Pfelzer has a an excellent network and access to highly qualified executives and specialists.
