As a personnel consultant at SENATOR Partners, Bernd Erhardt has over 30 years of sales, marketing and management experience - a sound basis for successfully filling positions that are considered particularly demanding or challenging.
His industry expertise includes retail and the service sector, IT and software, automation, mechanical and plant engineering and medical technology. He has particularly deep roots in the packaging industry, which he has supported intensively over many years. He also has extensive expertise in the field of personnel development.
His broad spectrum of industry knowledge is the result of his many years as a sales manager in the retail sector. In this role, he supported well-known companies and franchise systems in the structured development, operational business and effective implementation of sales measures. This also resulted in a deep understanding of change management - a topic that has been a recurring theme throughout his professional career.
Bernd Erhardt later took over the management of a marketing group with a focus on data-driven marketing, online business, IT and CRM systems. Here, too, his work focused on sales effectiveness, digital processes and sustainable structures.
His many years of experience as a sales and management trainer and coach have given him a special expertise that is rare in HR consulting. Over the years, he has accompanied several thousand participants in practical training programs - always with close reference to the day-to-day business of customers and employees. These were not one-off measures, but long-term personnel development programs in which he often accompanied candidates from the application process through onboarding to their active role in the company. A key component of this was the use of aptitude diagnostic procedures, diagnostic workshops and assessment centers. This allowed him to directly observe and evaluate the "before and after" effect - a valuable experience that he now brings to his work as a consultant.
The broad understanding of the industry that characterizes him today also stems from his more than ten years as a trainer and management consultant - particularly in medium-sized and family-run companies. Over 100 long-term mandates and training programmes have given him a deep insight into the cultural characteristics, management philosophy and entrepreneurial DNA of a wide variety of organizations.
