Robert T. Heinemann began his career in the public sector, working for a district government for more than 10 years before moving to Bielefeld University as Head of the Faculty of Law. During this time, he worked part-time in teaching, particularly in legal subjects. His next stage led him to the banking sector, where he worked for 15 years in both the public and private banking sectors. During these years, Robert T. Heinemann gained significant international experience in Europe, Asia and America. In the early 2000s he led the London branch of a German bank as SEVP & CEO.

 

He has been working in the field of Human Resources/People & Culture for more than three decades. He founded his own consulting firm based in Munich 15 years ago. Robert T. Heinemann's consulting focus is on HR strategy consulting for medium-sized companies, many of which also operate internationally. Previous mandates have taken him to many European countries, Asia, Africa and America. Since 2023, he has been using a Culture of Innovation Survey to measure the innovative capacity and innovative strength of companies. With this approach, he helps his clients to place significantly more focus on innovation in order to become more attractive as an employer and demonstrably retain more talent in the company and attract new talent.

 

To this day, Robert T. Heinemann continues to take on interim mandates as CHRO/Global Head of HR in order to remain very close to the practice. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) with his consulting boutique and is also active there as Chair of the HR Working Group. In 2021 and 2022, he worked for the global association as interim COO in Paris.
