Matthias Barhainski is a partner in our competence centres Automotive & E-Mobility, Construction / Technical Building Equipment (TGA) / Facility Management (FM) and Mechanical Engineering.
He is also our specialist for aptitude diagnostics and onboarding. He has also been involved in management audits and organisational development projects.

After studying business administration at the University of Passau, Matthias Barhainski started working for a small personnel consultancy in Munich, which was active across all sectors and positions. There he learned the trade of a personnel consultant from scratch.
By first recruiting suitable candidates as a researcher/recruiter and later building up research teams and leading them as Head of Research. This enabled him to acquire a broad knowledge of many industries and positions and to always know where to find the right people for a vacancy.
In parallel, he began to build up a client network and acquire his own mandates, which shifted his focus even more towards the needs of his clients.

He gained this experience at a recruitment consultancy group operating throughout Germany with a focus on technical professions (engineering positions) and is a man of the first hour at SENATOR.

With his broad experience in filling technical and commercial positions, Matthias Barhainski supports his clients in their personnel selection and recruitment. He guides candidates competently, empathically and confidentially on their way to new challenges and careers.

Jochen Mühlbauer worked for over 20 years as a manager in industry, both nationally and internationally. During this time, he held various management positions in global sales within the building materials, packaging and mechanical engineering industries. 

In 2014, he founded his own recruitment consultancy and has been successfully running his own customer-oriented office as a partner of SENATOR near Stuttgart ever since. Together with the Senior Partner, Mr. Arthur Jeger, and with the support of 3 permanently employed Head Hunters, all recruitment assignments are successfully handled by means of stringent recruitment processes.

Looking back on his many years of experience in management positions, he specializes in the recruitment of executives and highly specialized professionals from the medical technology, mechanical engineering, building materials and automotive supply industries.

Mr. Mühlbauer uses his experience in the subsequent onboarding of managers and top specialists after the successful placement.

Senator Executive Search Partners is very pleased that Dr. Carsten Menzel, with his extensive experience in the automotive, mechanical engineering and medical technology sectors, has joined the partner network as a consultant.

With his outstanding expertise in the metal industry, Dr Menzel supports companies in the fields of stamping and forming technology, CNC machining as well as welded assemblies and surface treatment in all aspects of HR consulting. Waste disposal, circular economy, in particular innovative technologies for a hydrogen-based energy supply with the use of waste as raw materials, are his focal points.

He supports companies in filling executive positions in the areas of sales, development and quality as well as at management level. The prerequisite for this is the development of a well-founded job profile, which also takes into account the influences of the respective corporate culture.

He is also dedicated to the growing market for ecological building construction, housing expansion, infrastructure and road construction in wood. With his profound knowledge, Dr Menzel is probably Germany's only expert for executive search in this sustainable industry.

As Managing Director, he used his market and sales knowledge to develop successful corporate and sales strategies and implement them with the right people in the right positions. His focus was often on building and developing successful sales teams for whom customer orientation is paramount. In addition to his appreciative leadership of employees and their appropriate deployment in the company, his focus was on the implementation and optimisation of processes as well as their KPI-supported control to achieve the company's goals.

Dr Menzel laid the foundations for his professional career with his studies in physics in Freiburg and subsequent doctorate in Essen with a degree in Münster and a minor in medical physics. Following this, Dr Menzel moved into sales in the automotive industry. After working for well-known tier-one suppliers as a key account manager, project manager, development manager and sales manager, he developed into an executive with responsibility for personnel and budgets. Before joining Senator Executive Search, he was managing director for companies with up to 500 employees.

Over 25 years of experience as an engineer in leading positions in the construction and real estate industry have given Marko Miosic a deep understanding of the current challenges in the industry, particularly in the area of technical professions.

As a branch manager and sales engineer, he successfully acquired, developed and implemented construction projects.     After successfully completing a degree in business administration, Michael Trzaska gained extensive experience in the IT/telecommunications and security industry (TGA). There he gained extensive knowledge and achieved success in various functions in sales, sales management and as a branch manager. 

    As an experienced manager, he led teams with sales responsibility in the double-digit million range with comprehensive responsibility. This involved managing sales / service / project management and commercial organisations. In the commercial area, he was successfully responsible for commercial processing (customer care) in a DAX company.

    Michael Trzaska has a distinct understanding of the interrelationships of the project business from order acquisition to realisation. He is a proven specialist in B2B business relations.

    With successful projects in hospitals and social institutions, he has acquired comprehensive knowledge within the health and social sector. 

    As head of competence management in a DAX company, Michael Trzaska gained extensive experience in recruiting and training employees. With his training as a systemic coach (EASC) and trainer, he is excellently equipped for consulting. His main concern in consulting and staffing is the successful integration of candidates into the client's company.
