Bartholomäus Ch. Lainer began his professional career as a lecturer at the training and continuing education institute of the Lucerne Commercial Association. His next position in Switzerland was as project manager in central management and personnel development at a retail group with production and service companies.

He has been self-employed since 1995 and works as a change management consultant and trainer, constantly involved in change projects at the BMW Group.

In 2009, he founded a management consultancy specializing in management development and change management, which advises and implements strategies in both medium-sized automotive companies and small and medium-sized enterprises.

For several years now, he has been combining his practical experience with the latest scientific findings through his teaching activities in the Master's program in Industrial Engineering at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

At SENATOR, he supports the change management division and acts as an expert contact for planned and ongoing change projects in the areas of corporate strategy, structure, and culture.

He draws on his extensive experience from numerous projects, starting as an organizational development consultant, and works with modern change management tools.

Senator Executive Search Partners is delighted to announce that Dr. Carsten Menzel, with his extensive experience in the automotive, mechanical engineering, and medical technology sectors, has joined the partner network as a consultant.

With his outstanding expertise in the metal industry, Dr. Menzel supports companies in the fields of stamping and forming technology, CNC machining, welding assemblies, and surface treatment in all aspects of personnel consulting. His main areas of focus are waste disposal, recycling management, and, in particular, innovative technologies for hydrogen-based energy supply using waste as a raw material.

He supports companies in finding the right candidates for senior positions in sales, development, and quality, as well as at management level. This requires the development of a detailed job profile that also takes into account the influences of the respective corporate culture.

In addition, he is dedicated to the growing market for ecological building construction, residential expansion, infrastructure, and road construction using wood. With his in-depth knowledge, Dr. Menzel is probably Germany's only expert in executive search in this sustainable industry.

As a managing director, he used his market and sales expertise to develop successful corporate and sales strategies and implement them by placing the right employees in the right positions. His focus was often on building and developing successful sales teams that put customer focus first. In addition to his appreciative leadership of employees and their appropriate deployment within the company, his focus was on the implementation and optimization of processes and their KPI-based management to achieve the company's goals.

Dr. Menzel laid the foundations for his professional career by studying physics in Freiburg and then completing his doctorate in Essen, graduating in Münster with a minor in medical physics. Dr. Menzel then moved into sales in the automotive industry. With positions at well-known Tier One suppliers as key account manager, project manager, development manager, and sales manager, he developed into a manager with responsibility for personnel and budgets. Before joining Senator Executive Search, he was managing director for companies with up to 500 employees.
