Andreas Berger works as a partner primarily in the competence centers Consumer Goods, Retail and Services as well as Digital and Online Business.

As a long-standing marketing professional, he naturally feels particularly at home in the marketing and sales environment, but also values all other functional areas. Andreas Berger studied business administration with a focus on retail and industry at the renowned Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. After graduating with a degree in business administration, he started his career in the international sporting goods industry.

The switch to the clothing and branded goods industry was followed by intensive years in marketing and product management, which were characterized by successful product launches, high-turnover point of sales campaigns and award-winning advertising campaigns. Responsibility for the marketing of a fashion chain store brought with it not only sound retail know-how but also construction and shopfitting experience. With his own online store, he was able to actively experience the beginnings of e-commerce.

After the turn of the millennium, Andreas Berger decided to put his interest in people and his entrepreneurial spirit to good use as a management consultant. After a successful decade in two renowned executive search consultancies, he found the ideal basis for his consultancy work at SENATOR in 2015.

Today, Andreas Berger primarily advises medium-sized clients from the branded goods and lifestyle-oriented manufacturing and retail environment as well as industry-related service providers through to construction planning. He also advises companies across industries that are adapting their business models and corporate culture to the requirements of the digital and networked world.

With many years of experience, expertise, empathy and perseverance, he accompanies clients and candidates on the often challenging path of reconciling their requirements, needs and wishes. As a result, trusting relationships have developed over the years, which have sometimes turned candidates into clients and former clients into candidates.

Andreas Berger is a member of the BDU, the Federal Association of German Management Consultants.

Jürgen Thielemann is a partner with extensive expertise in the consumer goods and mechanical engineering sectors. With his experience in the valve and control technology industry, as well as in the areas of manufacturing systems and mechanical engineering, he successfully fills all specialist and management positions. His strong functional expertise lies in human resources, where he successfully finds and acquires candidates for HR positions in all industries. He also applies his experience to the onboarding of executives and top specialists. Mr. Thielemann enriches SENATOR Executive Search Partners with his personality and expertise.

After completing his university education as a Dipl.-Ing. in production technology, he began his professional career in science and organizational consulting. Mr. Thielemann subsequently worked primarily in the consumer goods industry, in shopfitting, and in valve and control technology for the steam and energy industries. As a manager, he was responsible for the functional areas of human resources, management systems, IT, and organization. Most recently, he spent many years as a member of the board of directors for human resources and organization in the plant engineering division and as technical managing director at one of the most renowned international consumer goods manufacturers in the premium cookware sector. Mr. Thielemann also brings many years of experience in project management and in development and change projects. He has also served as a volunteer labor judge, on the advisory board of a major German health insurance company, and as a lecturer at universities.

Mr. Thielemann places particular emphasis on comprehensive HR consulting and sustainable, professional collaboration – both with companies and candidates. A perfect fit requires a shared understanding of the position to be filled between the company and the consultant. Success factors for this include jointly developing an accurate job description and identifying the key requirements for potential candidates, as well as identifying the company culture.

Johanna Betz has gained extensive practical experience in strategic HR management and organizational consulting through her work in leading consulting firms and international corporations. Her particular focus was on the development of HR strategies, talent development programmes and the digitalization of business processes in the financial sector. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Business Psychology, she continued her academic career with a Master's degree in Human Resources and Organizations at the London School of Economics, focusing on decision-making processes, leadership behavior and organizational dynmics.

 

In past working student positions, she has actively participated in the planning and implementation of HR strategies, including the support of talent management programs, the coordination of applicant management systems and the analysis and optimization of compensation models. She has also driven the development and implementation of digital HR processes to support companies in their digital transformation.

 

Another focus of her professional career is social media and online marketing, particularly in the financial sector. This experience is complemented by her work in a media group, where she was involved in the market launch of new products and the coordination of cross-functional projects in sales and marketing.
