As part of his training as an officer, Ralf Prechtl successfully completed his degree in electrical engineering and then went on to study industrial engineering.
After active service as an officer, Mr. Prechtl began his professional career in the Defence & Aerospace industry. After three years in Paris, he returned to the parent company, where he held various positions. Most recently, he worked in the management of a subsidiary, where he was responsible for strategy, marketing and sales.
From there, his path led him to another MDax company, where he was responsible for the restructuring of the division. As part of this role, he was responsible for the business success of several companies on various continents.
Following the successful restructuring, Mr. Prechtl moved to HR Consult Group AG as a member of the Management Board. He had previously been a member of the Supervisory Board there and was very familiar with the processes, the general conditions and the people involved. Mr. Prechtl has retained a further Supervisory Board position at a technology company. This company works in the field of tracking systems in logistics.
His industry focus is naturally on the world of defense & aerospace, the entire security industry and the interesting environment in the public sector.
The challenges in the public sector are of particular interest to Mr. Prechtl. A functioning administration and an efficient public service require motivated and capable employees. Finding them - in competition with industrial employers - is both exciting and interesting.
At the same time, his focus is on building networks and cooperation models as well as the continuous further development of systems and processes in personnel consulting. Due to his extensive experience in the field of restructuring, Mr. Prechtl is particularly interested in helping companies in difficult situations. The use of certified aptitude diagnostic procedures in individual personnel selection and development is an important building block here. This module is used both in management audits and in the improvement of structures.
