Eckart Achauer, studied law and business administration, postgraduate studies leading to a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In-service training as a European Quality Manager (DGQ), mediator specializing in business mediation, and Certified Compliance Manager (TÜV).

He worked for around 10 years in the international insurance industry in various management positions at a Swiss insurance group (claims department, sales, assistance) before moving into management and business consulting in 1997.

As a consultant and managing director of various consulting firms, Mr. Achauer has specialized in organizational and process optimization as well as the development and implementation of management systems—quality management, risk and compliance management.

At SENATOR, Mr. Achauer is responsible for compliance management. As part of compliance audits, he analyzes their organizational "compliance fitness," raises awareness and trains management, executives, and employees, and supports companies in setting up and implementing individual compliance management systems. In doing so, he always takes into account the specific risk situation of the companies. Thanks to his many years of experience as a manager and consultant, he is very familiar with the practical challenges of business.

Matthias Barhainski is a partner in our Automotive & E-Mobility, Construction / Technical Building Equipment (TBE) / Facility Management (FM), and Mechanical Engineering competence centers.
He is also our specialist for aptitude diagnostics and onboarding. He has also been involved in management audits and organizational development projects.

After studying business administration at the University of Passau, Matthias Barhainski started his career at a small personnel consulting firm in Munich that worked across various industries and positions. There, he learned the craft of personnel consulting from the ground up.
He began by recruiting suitable candidates as a researcher/recruiter and later built up research teams and led them as Head of Research. This allowed him to gain broad knowledge in many industries and positions, and he always knows where to find the right people for a vacancy.
At the same time, he began to build up a client network and acquire his own mandates, which shifted his focus even more towards the needs of his clients.

He gained this experience at a Germany-wide personnel consulting group focusing on technical professions (engineering positions) and has been with SENATOR since the very beginning.

With his wealth of experience in filling both technical and commercial positions, Matthias Barhainski provides his clients with targeted support in their personnel selection and recruitment. He guides candidates competently, empathetically, and confidentially on their way to new challenges and careers.

In this role, she gained valuable experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions that accelerated her clients' business growth in the areas of portfolio management, investment banking, and wealth. She stands out for her unique ability to combine solution expertise with industry-specific know-how.

After completing a banking apprenticeship and studying law in Munich and business administration in St. Gallen, Oliver Becker began his professional career as a lawyer in the field of M&A and private equity at a leading law and tax consulting firm.

He then moved to the investment management division of a major international bank. Subsequently, he took over the management of a medium-sized investment company.

Oliver Becker has been working as a personnel consultant since 2011. He primarily supports clients with a focus on asset management and the family office segment.

As a long-standing marketing professional, he naturally feels particularly at home in the field of marketing and sales, but also values all other functional areas. In addition to traditional headhunting, Andreas Berger is interested in aptitude diagnostics and has contributed to management audits in the retail sector for Senator.

Andreas Berger studied business administration with a focus on trade and industry at the renowned Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. After successfully completing his degree in business administration, he began his professional career in the international sporting goods industry.

His move into the clothing and branded goods industry was followed by intense years in marketing and product management, marked by successful product launches, high-revenue point-of-sale promotions, and award-winning advertising campaigns. Responsibility for marketing a fashion chain store brought with it not only in-depth retail expertise but also experience in construction and shopfitting. With his own online shop, he was able to actively witness the beginnings of e-commerce.

After the turn of the millennium, Andreas Berger decided to put his interest in people and his entrepreneurial spirit to good use as a management consultant. Following a successful decade at two renowned executive search consultancies, he found the ideal base for his consulting work at SENATOR in 2015.

Today, Andreas Berger primarily advises medium-sized clients from the branded goods and lifestyle-oriented manufacturing and retail sectors, as well as industry-related service providers, including construction planning.
