Matthias Barhainski works as a partner in our Automotive & E-Mobility, Construction / Technical Building Services (TGA) / Facility Management (FM) and Mechanical Engineering competence centers.
He is also our specialist for suitability diagnostics and onboarding. He has also been involved in management audits and organizational development projects.

After studying business administration at the University of Passau, Matthias Barhainski joined a small cross-industry and cross-position HR consultancy in Munich. There, he learned the trade of a personnel consultant from the ground up.
He began by recruiting suitable candidates as a researcher/recruiter and later built up research teams and managed them as Head of Research. This enabled him to acquire a broad knowledge of many industries and positions and he always knows where to find the right people for a vacancy.
At the same time, he began to build up a client network and acquire his own mandates, which shifted his focus even more towards the needs of his clients.

He gained this experience at a Germany-wide personnel consulting group with a focus on technical professions (engineering positions) and has been with SENATOR from the very beginning.

With his wealth of experience in filling technical and commercial positions, Mr. Matthias Barhainski provides his clients with targeted support in their personnel selection and recruitment. He accompanies candidates competently, empathetically and confidentially on their way to new challenges and careers.

Andreas Berger works as a partner primarily in the competence centers Consumer Goods, Retail and Services as well as Digital and Online Business.

On a functional level, his clients value him as a generalist who delivers convincing results across all functions and levels. As a long-standing marketing professional, he naturally feels particularly at home in the marketing and sales environment, but also values all other functional areas. In addition to classic headhunting, Andreas Berger is interested in aptitude diagnostics and has worked on management audits in the retail sector for Senator.

Andreas Berger studied business administration with a focus on retail and industry at the renowned Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. After graduating with a degree in business administration, he started his career in the international sporting goods industry.

The switch to the clothing and branded goods industry was followed by intensive years in marketing and product management, which were characterized by successful product launches, high-turnover point of sales campaigns and award-winning advertising campaigns. Responsibility for the marketing of a fashion chain store brought with it not only sound retail know-how but also construction and shopfitting experience. With his own online store, he was able to actively experience the beginnings of e-commerce.

After the turn of the millennium, Andreas Berger decided to put his interest in people and his entrepreneurial spirit to good use as a management consultant. After a successful decade in two renowned executive search consultancies, he found the ideal basis for his consultancy work at SENATOR in 2015.

Today, Andreas Berger primarily advises medium-sized clients from the branded goods and lifestyle-oriented manufacturing and retail environment as well as industry-related service providers through to construction planning. He also advises companies across industries that are adapting their business models and corporate culture to the requirements of the digital and networked world.

With many years of experience, expertise, empathy and perseverance, he accompanies clients and candidates on the often challenging path of reconciling their requirements, needs and wishes. As a result, trusting relationships have developed over the years, which have sometimes turned candidates into clients and former clients into candidates.

Andreas Berger is a member of the BDU, the Federal Association of German Management Consultants.

Dr. Armin Betz founded HR Consult Group AG in 1994 and has been its CEO since 1996. His focus is on building networks and cooperation models, which is demonstrated on a daily basis with the PERSONAL TOTAL and SENATOR brands. He supports the continuous further development of systems and processes in HR consulting. Many of HR Consult Group AG's new developments are now standard in the HR consulting industry. The accumulated knowledge of the Group over the past decades is summarized in training courses and seminars and enables a comprehensive and well-founded training as a personnel consultant, which is certainly unique in Germany. With more than 250 successfully trained personnel consultants, this is a USP in the German personnel consulting industry.

He has been working in personnel consulting for more than 25 years and is therefore one of the most experienced personnel consultants in Germany. His consulting focus is on the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors, in particular e-mobility and renewable energies. The areas of human resources and aptitude diagnostics round off his consultancy profile.

For several years, he has been a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Landshut on the subject of aptitude diagnostics and its current developments. He is also a lecturer at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Munich on topics such as the latest HR trends, state-of-the-art recruiting methods and potential analyses.

His doctorate in the field of aptitude diagnostics ideally rounds off his areas of expertise, particularly with regard to personnel and management consulting. The dissertation deals with the identification and verification of typical personality traits of engineers as well as the definition of development areas for a successful professional career. These are scientifically derived and presented in the book "Eignungsdiagnostik im Praxiseinsatz".

Before becoming self-employed, Dr. Betz worked for a German premium car manufacturer in product marketing and marketing strategy.

After studying automotive engineering and industrial engineering, he started his career in the automotive industry in the areas of sales, development and marketing and also spent a year in Japan with one of the largest automotive suppliers.

Lars Osmers is a partner and, thanks to his many years of experience, regularly fills key positions, particularly in medium-sized manufacturing companies, often in family businesses. For his clients, he successfully searches for management personalities as well as qualified specialists, also for difficult technical positions.

He has always been interested in both economic and technical topics and therefore studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. He spent his first professional years at the headquarters of a DAX 30 company and as deputy managing director of a manufacturing subsidiary.

In the following years, he was responsible for projects and restructuring as an interim manager and member of the management of mostly family-run technical companies.

He finally switched to personnel consulting 10 years ago. During this time, he worked as a partner for a renowned Düsseldorf consultancy, which is one of the top 10 German firms, and has been a partner at SENATOR, which is one of the top 20 German personnel consultancies, for eight years.

He prefers to spend his free time with his family, in nature or doing voluntary work. On vacation, he is interested in foreign cultures or enjoys hiking or skiing in the mountains.

Peter Schönberger studied law in Munich and worked as a lawyer in renowned law firms until he took over the legal department of an eHealth group in 2006. During this time, he accompanied the development of the company into a Tecdax group, in particular in the context of inorganic growth and in his role as a key player in the German telematics infrastructure.

In 2011, Peter Schönberger took over responsibility for the Group's global HR department. In particular, he was responsible for the international harmonization of the national companies, digitalization, management support and the development of a company health management system.

In 2014, Mr. Schönberger left the company and moved to the management of a professional sports club, which the founder of the Group had previously taken over through Mr. Schönberger's mediation. As Managing Director, he reached the final of the German Ice Hockey League twice with the Cologne Sharks and was also a member of the league's legal and economic committee.

Peter Schönberger has been working in personnel consulting since 2019 and contributes his expertise from his many years of entrepreneurial activity. He has in-depth knowledge of IT and in particular in the field of telematics infrastructure. Peter Schönberger is still licensed as a lawyer and can approach candidates for legal positions "from colleague to colleague". He also quickly establishes a good level of experience with HR managers through his management activities in the HR sector.

Peter Schönberger has also completed a LUXXprofile Master training course. Mr. Schönberger uses the intrinsic analysis method LUXXprofile to analyse candidates in the final selection process as well as existing company executives in order to increase the accuracy of fit between position and candidate or executive. His intrinsic training also regularly helps him to assess candidates well in terms of their drivers.
